Shortly after Akhenaton’s 12th regnal 12 months, among the list of princesses died, three disappeared (and will also be presumed to own died), and Nefertiti vanished. The simplest inference is usually that Nefertiti also died, but there's no record of her death and no evidence that she was at any time buried while in the Amarna royal tomb. Early
